Hoʻomana’s style of Lomi Lomi is anchored in the therapeutic practices of six Hawaiian lineages, passed down through the elders with whom my Kumu (teacher), Jeana Iwalani Naluai, had the privilege to study. Incorporating what is commonly known as Big Island-style Lomi Lomi, this lineage-based approach integrates deeply intentional bodywork with a focus on alignment, joint mobility, and energetic flow.
Long, rhythmic forearm strokes move along the body’s natural pathways to unwind tension and encourage circulation, while gentle stretches, joint rotation, bone-level compression, and work on attachments, supports alignment, mobility, and pain relief—offering not just comfort, but true physical transformation.
Lomi Lomi is often associated with flowing strokes and spiritual nourishment, it's not widely known that it can also be deeply therapeutic on a physical level, able to address structural and muscular concerns in the body.
